Swiss Gymnastics Federation in Dornbirn
On March 24, around 50 members of the Gymnaestrada Commission of the Swiss Gymnastics Federation were visiting Dornbirn. In addition to a lively exchange in specialist groups, the main venues were visited - Birkenwiese Dornbirn, Casino Stadium Bregenz and Trade Exhibition Centre Dornbirn.
We are very much looking forward to welcome almost 3,200 Swiss Gymnasts to the World Gymnaestrada 2019!

2nd Joint Meeting - FIG in Dornbirn
Almost the entire FIG Gymnastics for All committee was again paying a visit to Dornbirn during the three-day joint meeting from the 2nd to 4th of February. It was all about concentrated and productive work. Many plans were conceived and important decisions for the further planning and organisation of the World Gymnaestrada 2019 were made.
This time it’s Africa!
In mid-January the FIG‘s Gymnastics for All committee held another course to promote its activities. This time the place to be was Cotonou/Benin whereby 14 representatives of the countries Cameroon, Congo, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Benin as well as the FIG delegates Flemming Knudsen and Ruedi Steuri took part. Thanks to the great organizational work of Benin’s gymnastics president Isidore Gbaguidi the course was very well received and could be used by our CEO Erwin Reis to promote the participation of African countries at the next World Gymnaestrada in Dornbirn.
