Southern Spirit are two teams from Australia: Gymtastic from south of Sydney and Kangaroo Island off the southern coast. They hope to embrace you in the colours of our great land, bringing people and nature together - from our beautiful oceans to the splendour of the desert and Uluru.
Fun FactsThe inspiration for our routine came from the natural beauty and colours of our homeland. GREAT BARRIER REEF INTERESTING FACTS • One of the 7 natural wonders of the world. • Largest living structure on the planet, so big it’s visible from space. • The size of about 70 million football fields or the size of Japan or Italy. ULURU INTERESTING FACTS • You may know Uluru as Ayers Rock; Uluru is the Aboriginal and official name. • The rock was created over some 600 million years • Uluru lies west of the Simpson Desert, not far from the ‘Red Centre’ of Australia KANGAROO ISLAND INTERESTING FACTS • Kangaroo Island is seven times the size of Singapore. • Kangaroo Island is Australia's third-largest island. • The Kangaroos on the island are slightly different from the mainland ones. They have longer fur and are darker in colour. • The island has 5 Wilderness Protection Areas and one third of the island is declared Conservation or National Park.
