Group nameTanzhaus Hohenems
We are the Tanzhaus Hohenems – a community of disabled and non-disabled individuals who share the joy of collective dancing. At the present time our group consists of 40 members and our dance performances have already inspired audiences in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Finnland and the Czech Republic. The Tanzhaus Hohenems differs from other dancing groups: We focus on every member’s individual qualities and strengths, which are included and reflected in our joint choreographies. In the Tanzhaus Hohenems, rather than talking about inclusion, we experience it with extraordinary „normality“. We represent diversity – regardless of age, sex or personal attributes – we welcome dancers of all abilities. Tanzhaus Hohenems is available for both public and private performances. The repertoire we offer is artistically varied and unique.
