| The akro(e)motion showteam is based in Upper Austria, with the currently 18 performers ranging from age 9 to 37. akro(e)motion is proud to allow young talents to showcase their skills in performing acrobatic choreographies on the big stage. Each year, the group participates in multiple nationwide events – which necessitates up to four practice sessions per week to learn the acrobatic- and show elements. Every other year akro(e)motion welcomes over 1.000 visitors over the course of four sell-out evenings to the „Show Rendezvous“ acrobatics event in their home town. The latest 2019 edition culminated in their biggest show act to date - „The Greatest Show“, based on the musical „The Greatest Showman“. In this musical the main character P.T. Barnum sets a new milestone in the showbiz by creating a completely new show, featuring acrobats, performers and dancers in addition to his curiosities. Following Barnaum‘s quest to set new milestones, the akro(e)motion team also set out to present their own, breathtaking take on „The Greatest Show“. It‘s Showtime! | |
