A cemetery is a spooky place? Not in México!
Due to a mexican tradition, on „Día de los muertos“ or „Day of the dead“, once a year the souls of the decents return from beyond to celebrate a huge reunion with their living families. The streets are decorated with flowers and you can find colourful arranged family altars as the centre of attention during this festival everywhere.
Leading part of the „Día de los muertos“ are „las Catrinas“. Symbolizing the decent souls they dance and party around the streets of México.
So does our little family. As they stumble over some Catrinas in festival-mood, the initial fear turns into joy and happiness and they start to celebrate the family party together - but only for one night before the Catrinas return to beyond until next year.
Let us carry you away by bringing this wonderful world cultural heritage on stage with acrobatics, dance and traditional music.
